Wedding Photography in Hertfordshire
Here is my guide to some of my favourite wedding venues in Hertfordshire I’ve been to over the last few years – there are many more from barns, stately homes, hotels, city centre locations & more – so whatever type of wedding you are planning there will be something for you.
I live on the edge of London in Walthamstow so a quick dash up the A1 & I’m in Herts – over the years I’ve shot weddings in most parts of Hertfordshire including Stevenage, Letchworth, Welwyn Garden City, St. Albans, Hitchin & more.
Rothamsted Manor
First on my list is Rothamsted Manor, this is a historic venue set in a quiet & private setting with loads of options for photos on the grounds.
Lila’s Wood – Woodland Weddings
Another I love is Lila’s Wood (also known as Woodland Weddings) – in a secluded setting with onsite camping & glamping (the larger tents are like hotel rooms inside). If you’re looking for a wood wedding & want to customise it yourself, this is a great choice.
Elstree Manor
The Manor in Elstree is a venue I go back to pretty often, it has history in the film industry lying close to Elstree Studios & is great for an outdoor ceremony if the weather holds.
Mercure Noke Hotel, St. Albans
If you’d prefer to be closer to town the Mercure Noke Hotel in St. Albans’s is a good option – big function room & well located for guests travelling in.
Chesfield Downs Golf Club
Near Letchworth, this is another I’ve been to a few times in Herts – plenty of grounds & hopefully no stray golf balls.
County Hall, Hertford
And of course if you’re looking for a register office County Hall in Hertford is my pick – some external space for photos (not all register offices have this) & even some good couple photos options (even less register offices have this).
