London Register Offices
Register Offices are a popular choice in London – of course I look for the best photo ops at each – I’ve been to most of them & here are a few of my favourites:
Walthamstow Town Hall
Ok so I’m biased as I live in E17 but Walthamstow Town Hall for my money is the best in London – a beautiful art deco building immaculately restored with fantastic outside space at the front in Fellowship Square. More in my Walthamstow Wedding Guide.
Marylebone Town Hall
Marylebone runs it a very close second – impeccably organised with doormen for each wedding this is an elegant venue where Beatles (Paul McCartney) & James Bond (Daniel Craig) have married.
Islington Town Hall
Another favourite is Islington Town Hall on Upper Street – right in the heart of Islington it’s always bustling & busy outside & there are several impressive rooms within for your ceremony.
Chelsea Town Hall
Chelsea Town Hall is another historic choice right on Kings Road with lots of brilliant photo locations nearby.
Hackney Town Hall
Hackney Town Hall is equally impressive as the others & is a popular choice in East London, it’s got some great rooms inside & like most it has a few choices depending on how big your wedding is.
Enfield Town Hall
Enfield Register Office has some brilliant photo options nearby with a river, public gardens & lots of places for groups or couple shots.
York House, Twickenham
You can use York House in Richmond just as a ceremony venue only or it has several reception rooms if you’d like to spend the whole day.
Sutton Register Office
Another I seem to end up at quite often – again it has grounds at the back (many don’t) so the photo side is taken care of – big spacious main room.
